Tyler Christensen is a dynamic Mathematics and Machine Learning professional currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Applied & Computational Mathematics from Brigham Young University. Specializing in Data Science and Machine Learning, his coursework covered a wide array of topics, including Linear and Nonlinear Analysis, Computation and Optimization, and Multivariable Calculus.

In his professional journey, Tyler worked as a Data Science Intern at Applied Invention in Burbank, CA, where he helped develop a data analytics platform utilizing an algorithm to help companies expand their service areas based on market trends. Tyler’s commitment to research is evident through his role as a Research Assistant in BYU’s Mathematics Department, where he creates and optimizes machine learning models and data pipelines on a regular basis.

Beyond academics and research, Tyler demonstrates technical prowess as a Lighting Technician/Designer at BYU’s College of Fine Arts and Communication. Supervising as Master Electrician for international dance teams and managing lighting networks for nine theater spaces, he showcased adaptability and leadership. With a comprehensive skill set developed over five years, Tyler Christensen emerges as a seasoned professional with a passion for applying mathematical and machine learning principles to solve real-world challenges.
